Adopt-An-Agency

Hearing Health not-for-profit organizations may want to be a part of a network with others who share the same mission and goals. They may do this through HCOA’s Adopt-An-Agency program. Through this program a hearing health not-for-profit is adopted as an Affiliate by an HCOA Friends Chapter or may apply directly. Affiliates receive various benefits including:

  • Purchasing Cooperative - Affiliates receive discounts on hearing aids, batteries, therapy materials and audiology and speech pathology equipment from leading suppliers, including Widex Hearing Aid Company, Oticon and Phonak, Inc. among others.
  • Can participate in Sertoma’s Community Grant program where they can apply for grants between $2,500-$5,000. The Grants are for hearing health programs and projects.
  • Professional Education Grants - These grants up to $425 per fiscal year enable Affiliate staff members to attend conferences and trainings that greatly expand their ability to serve within their communities.

adopt an agency Agencies interested in becoming part of the Adopt-An-Agency program must be a 501(C)3 or tax status equivalent and be dedicated to helping those with communicative disorders.
