Are You a Not-For-Profit or Educational Organization?

As a not-for-profit hearing health agency or school department that works with hearing health issues, you can become an affiliate by being part of our Adopt-An-Agency program. Affiliates receive up to $425 in Professional Education grants each year; apply for grants between $2,500 and $5,000 for new programs and educational materials for parents and caretakers. Become an Affiliate today!

All not-for-profit agencies can receive our action campaign materials. A Sound Investment is our first campaign – the goal is to help our communities become aware of induction looping and how it can help those with hearing devices. Additionally, you may want to consider making your organization one of our Associated Charities.

You, as an individual, may want to become a Friend of Hearing Charities. As a Friend, you will receive periodic updates on hearing health issues and new programs. Learn more about becoming a Friend and starting a Friends Chapter by looking under Ways to Get Involved.

You may want to support our scholarship program! We give out $1,000 scholarships annually to the deaf and hard of hearing students and those studying to be audiologists or speech pathologists. You can learn more about our scholarships under Ways to Get Involved or you can partner with us as a donor to support this effort.

As a not-for-profit organization, you may come in to contact with clients or students who cannot afford hearing assistive devices. HCOA is working to create a national hearing device bank. One day we hope to ensure all individuals needing hearing devices can receive affordable access to them. To get this project underway, we ask that you help by sending us used hearing devices:
