Are You a Hearing Health Provider?

As a hearing health provider, this site will help you with patients and ways to become involved with hearing health in your community – or help others get involved.
First, if your agency is a not for profit, the agency can become an Affiliate of our Adopt-An-Agency program and receive up to $425 in Professional Education grants each year; apply for grants between $2,500 and $5,000 for new programs and educational materials for parents and caretakers. Join today – become an Affiliate!
Maybe your agency participates in a health fair – you can use our SAFEEars! materials to help people understand noise induced hearing loss. Our partners also have programs that can help.
Your agency might be interested in induction looping. Check out our action campaign, A Sound Investment. You may know someone who is interested in getting a facility looped. HCOA Friends Chapter can make this possible. We will help you through the project, educating groups about looping, to fundraising, to putting you in touch with the manufacturers of looping – we can be the resource.
As a hearing health provider, you may have patients who cannot afford hearing assistive devices. HCOA is working to create a national hearing device bank. One day we hope to ensure all patients needing hearing devices can receive affordable access to them. To get this project underway, we ask that you help by sending us used hearing devices:

You can also become involved in HCOA by making a gift to support our scholarship program. In partnership with Sertoma, Inc., HCOA awards $1,000 scholarships annually to the deaf and hard of hearing and to those studying to become audiologists and speech pathologists.
